Marine airbag repair and maintenance
Marine airbag repair:
The damage forms of Marine rubber airbags can generally be divided into longitudinal cracks (cracks extending along the length of the airbag), transverse cracks (cracks extending along the circular direction) and nail holes (including disc-shaped damage within 10 cm in diameter). The steps are as follows:
(1) Define the repair area as the boundary of the polished surface. Repair should be extended to the area around the crack, do not miss the hidden wound. The expansion range of airbags varies depending on the type of airbag and the degree of injury. Generally, 24 ~2 6 cm 3 layer is 18≤ 20 cm≤4 layer is 20 ≤2 2 cm≤5 layer is 2 2≤2 4 cm≤6 layer. Laying of longitudinal cracked suspension fabric
(2) Repair part of the surface until the wire is exposed, but does not damage it.
(3) For long cracks, first use wire suture. The location of the pinholes is about 2 to 3 cm away from the cracks, and the distance between the needles is about 10 cm.
(4) Clean the surface of the repaired part with gasoline and dry it.
(5) Apply a layer of glue. The slurry is made by soaking raw glue in gasoline. The weight ratio of raw glue to gasoline is usually 1:5, and the first layer should be slightly thin (the weight ratio of raw glue to gasoline can be 1:8). After the first layer of glue has dried, apply a slightly thicker paste and dry again.
(6) Use a raw rubber strip with a thickness of 1 mm and a width greater than 1 cm to seal the joint.
(7) Use a brush to dry and cool the gasoline.
(8) For longitudinal cracks, first apply a layer of rubber curtain fabric about 10 cm wide to the position perpendicular to the direction of the crack.
(9) Lay a layer of suspended rubber curtain along the longitudinal parallel. The overlap area around the crack should be greater than 5 cm, and the surrounding area should be cut and pasted into rounded corners.
(10) The inclined surface is covered with a layer of adhesive curtain fabric. The direction of the rope should be the same as the slash line (or reinforcement fiber) on the capsule wall. The surrounding binding area should be 1cm larger than the hanging curtain fabric of the previous layer, and the surrounding area should be cut and pasted into rounded corners.
